Coming This Fall: New Afterschool Programs

This fall, we are launching new afterschool programs with Minecraft. Join us to level up your Minecraft skills with our expert counselors.

Interested in continuing to level up your Minecraft experience?
We’re offering new online courses where you can master coding, engineering with redstone, and survival mode in two-hour sessions that will take place once a week over the course of a month. Intro to Coding with ComputercraftEdu, Engineering with Redstone, and Survival Camp in Minecraft will launch just after Labor Day. The courses will have a 6:1 student to counselor ratio, meaning everyone will receive plenty of hands-on instruction. Later in September, we will launch online courses in animation and creative mode and then, in October, we’ll add a girls-only course. The courses will cost between $40-65 each.

To get an idea of what the course will be like, check out the below video.

Have you ever wanted to spend more time with one of our counselors?
Now you can! Later this month, we are launching our first 1-on-1 online mentoring program. You can master animation, coding, engineering, and modding in Minecraft with the help of one of our awesome counselors. If you’re a Spanish speaker, love the language, or just want to improve your Spanish, we’re also offering mentoring via Spanish immersion in Minecraft! You can purchase mentoring for $25 per hour.

Are you looking to improve in one specific area of Minecraft?
We’re also adding online workshops to our repertoire! Join us for one of our two-hour workshops in animation and/or game design. You can also join us for one of our weekly tournaments, including player vs player, minigame, or survival. The workshops will include standalone activities that are more structured and take place over voice chat. They are meant to help you meet new friends and level up your skills. There will be about three workshops a week, so check in often to see what we’re offering.

Check back on Monday, August 15th to sign up for all of our new afterschool programming.
