E-Sports Coach – League of Legends

Connected Camps is seeking esports coaches for a new high school league in Orange County, CA.

The game: League of Legends.

The goal: To nurture a healthy and competitive environment that empowers high school gamers. Coaches will typically work with two school teams weekly during the league season, which runs from January-April 2018. Coaching will take place virtually, and include team sessions, clinics, scrims, and tournament play.

Schools will provide an in-person faculty sponsor for each school, known as a General Manager (GM). Coaches work closely with their teams’ GMs to create an effective training program emphasizing teamwork, communication, sportsmanship, conflict resolution, and strategy. Coaches will ensure that teams feel well supported, informed, and prepared for league participation.

High School Students – Volunteer Minecraft Counselors

Work with a team of counselors to make online summer camp a wonderful experience for campers. Apply your Minecraft expertise to teach others about the game and help resolve issues on the server. Show off your skills and inspire campers with your creations and give them new challenges to tackle. Train, collaborate, and problem-solve with your fellow team members, both online and in person. Bring your enthusiasm and passion and help make Club Minecraft a truly special experience.
