What is Kid Club?

Kid Club is more than just a free, safe, kid-friendly Minecraft server. It is also an online clubhouse where kids play, hang out, and create things together. Kids own the agenda, and have space to make choices about activities and projects. Counselors are always there to help when needed, join the fun, and foster a collaborative and friendly environment. Kid Club is open from 1-5pm Pacific daily.

Kid Club supports kids ages 8-15 in:

  • Problem solving
  • Conflict resolution
  • Online and web literacy
  • Collaboration and community moderation
  • Digital citizenship

My son is on his second day with Connected Camps. He loves it and keeps saying how nice and helpful the moderators are to him. Thanks so much for having Connected Camps for kids who enjoy Minecraft.

This means members have to register with us, so we know who is on our servers at all times. This makes our servers safe and kid-friendly.

Everyone who joins our server agrees to abide by our Code of Conduct: Don’t grief. Be nice and respectful. Keep information private. Help keep our community friendly. The code also explains what happens if a member violates it – we take violations seriously and work closely with parents and our counselors to quickly resolve any issue.

The learning approach and design of Connected Camps is backed by lots of research and testing in practice, and is part of the Connected Learning Alliance, dedicated to mobilizing new technology in the service of equity, access and opportunity for all young people.

Our counselors are not only experts in Minecraft but also are fantastic at working with kids. We run a background check as part of the hiring process and all of our counselors are trained to keep club play fun and friendly. Our Lead Counselors are university students from game design and computer science programs, and our high school counselors in training come from schools all over the country. Read more about our team.
